Pour la promo, tf1 passait en boucle une séquence où une candidate ou tentatrice reprit cette phrase. (d’ailleurs le charme de cette femme m’avait marqué
Pour moi, elle a voulu simplement dire ,qu’elle l’avait entendu cette phrase dans cette émission à défaut de connaitre O. Wilde

Pour le coup de l’ile de la tentation, étant prof de français et de littérature je ne peux être que « choquée » … Le pire c’est qu’une « amie » (le genre je me la pète je sais tout mieux que tout le monde) m’a sorti la même absurdité il y a quelques années. Voulant me donner une leçon de morale, elle me sort « Comme dirait l’ile de la tentation, le meilleur moyen … » Hé bah figurez vous qu’elle s’est « venère à donf » quand j’ai osé dire que c’est Wilde qui est à l’origine de cette phrase et non cette émission horrible … J’ai bien ri. Le proverbe « la culture c’est comme la confiture moins on en a plus on l’étale » a pris tout son sens ce jour là.

Mais après tout, n’est-ce pas »normal » ? Ce qui est étrange c’est qu’ils écrivent en bon français, surtout! 
Ah, PS: Cette phrase est, de tout façon, dans le générique d’introduction de cette émission. Mais elle ne se l’accapare pas, c’est bien marqué que c’est de Wilde… Ils doivent penser que c’est un des producteurs, peut-être ?!

En fait, elle n’a pas tout à fait tort pour la citation.
Cette phrase est la traduction foireuse que TF1 utilisait comme slogan dans l’ile de la tentation et qui n’ a plus grand chose à voir avec la citation de Wilde au niveau du sens (et ne veut pas dire grand chose).
L’originale étant plutôt : « La meilleure façon de se libérer d’une tentation est d’y céder. »
